The Corsica (France) Flag is the flag of a French state. It's flag is white with a man wearing a ribbon on his head. The flag of Corsica Features a Moor's head in the middle of a white field. The chief had been identified in advance by his white headband. Once removed, the Corsican had a drawing made of the trophy head and transferred onto a white cloth. Another popular legend says that the head is actually that of a royal Lieutenant of the King of Aragon. Per the story a young Corsican's fiancee had been abducted by bandits and sold to the King. The Corsican freed his love and fled with her. The King sent a trusted Lieutenant after the couple. After a dramatic battle the young Corsican decapitated his pursuer and used it as a trophy all over the island.
